From the Producer: ‘Gabbrodō’ is hand-harvested from vineyards in Monnières. To drink with scallops with truffles, grilled lobster, sea urchin, sea bass in a salt crust, pike-perch in white butter.
From the Importer Jeffrey Alpert: Christophe Bosque of Di Vini has a passion for wine and his quest for emotions and sensations has led him to offer a selection of wines that are truly “off the beaten path.” His focus is, of course, the terroir. One day in 2017, he decided to take over some vineyards in the Gorge of the Loire Atlantique region. From then on, he was vinifying his own vintages.
Maison De Vini is made up of just under 2 hectares of Melon de Bourgogne old vines. Aside from the Melon de Bourgogne, Bosque also vinifies southern grape varieties from many producers (selected by friend Anthony Tortul of La Sorga.)
He works without additives and with few or no inputs. Bosque’s dedication is to produce high quality wines that provide pleasure and are a joy to share. Bosque studied viticulture and oenology which was a natural segue to winemaking. After developing his technical training and work in the vineyard, Di Vini was born.
