Julie Peach ‘Picnic on Grape’ Tea Towel
From the Maker, Julie Peach:Since 2008, I have been hand-carving linoleum printing blocks to create colorful textiles. Each block is illustrated, hand-carved, print-tested, and refined. Each textile piece is hand-printed; some pieces require upwards of four dozen prints to complete the pattern. Then I press, sew, heat set, and package the goods in my studio. (Rinse. And Repeat.)
This tea towel features my Picnic pattern on 100% Cotton. Each piece has been thoughtfully hand printed by Denver’s ONLY green-certified print shop! Please note - this is a hand screen printed (not block printed) item, based off of my original artwork.
There's a reason why flour sack tea towels haven't gone out of style - they're equally beautiful & functional!
