Florian Le Capitaine ‘Les Aumônes’ Vouvray Sec Blanc 2022
Location: France, Loire, Vouvray
Winemaker: Florian Le Capitane
Grapes: Chenin Blanc
Soil: Clay, limestone
Winemaking: Organic farming. Hand harvest, native yeast fermentation.
From the Producer: Winemaker on the first coasts of Rochecorbon, 6-hectare estate in organic and organic conversion. The vineyard is located in its entirety on the first coasts of Rochecorbon on clay-limestone soils.
Son of a winemaker, I worked for the family estate for 6 years. Passionate about my terroir, I decided to fly with my own wings and vinify wines in my image, from organic farming.
The wines of the estate are made from organic vines. No herbicides or insecticides are used. Floor maintenance is done mechanically, using ploughs and tools with intercep blades.
