Essence is a special little pour, meant for dessert, or to pair with dessert. James came up with the name, Essence, because it is the essence of the apple. In the process of cryo-concentration, we estimate that 5/6ths of the original volume is frozen out as ice. That means there’s about 20 apples (minus the water) in every bottle of Essence. We hope this bottle brings you joy and expands the notion of what cider is and where it fits on your table.
All of the apples in this cider were grown by us in James’ Newfield Orchard. Sweet. 15% residual sugar, 10% abv.
