From the Producers: Committed to respecting and protecting our environment , we have embarked on a sustainable farming approach . The products from our Famille Morin estate in Beaujolais comply with the AOP specifications. In 2023, our Beaujolais wines will be certified organic (AB - Agriculture Biologique) .

On a daily basis, we have adapted our manufacturing methods to limit our environmental impact . This includes designing eco-friendly packaging , using recycled label paper, replacing aluminum capsules with natural wax, using a new organic cork stopper that is not washed with peroxide, and reducing the weight of our bottles (20 fewer tons of glass over 10 years)... things are changing!

We have also embarked on a massive replanting of trees on our plots ( an agro-ecological practice necessary for biodiversity, soil fertility and the beautification of rural landscapes) and plan to launch a small olive production (unique in Beaujolais)... in short, we are taking action every day and on our scale to try to produce without destroying!

For several years, our Domaine Famille Morin in Beaujolais has been committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities.
Focused on agroecology, we promote practices that respect soil life, plant balance, and the environment.

In our Beaujolais vineyards, reintroducing trees is essential to increasing biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and improving soil health.
Each year, we plant numerous trees (olive, peach, ash, almond, etc.) on our plots with the aim of transforming these fruits (olive oil, tapenade, jams, etc.).

Cover crops are planted to provide organic matter (which is scarce in our sandy Beaujolais soils), to enrich our soils, and to prevent erosion on the steep slopes. We prune and bud our vines by hand to respect the sap flow. This meticulous practice helps reduce vine diseases and ensures the long-term health of our vineyard.

In the cellar, we intervene as little as possible in order to respect our terroir. Our Domaine Famille Morin wines are fermented by the yeasts naturally present on the grapes, then aged on fine lees in our large oak casks and Burgundian barrels until bottling
